Improve customer satisfaction by quality functions deployment: Case in Indonesian SMEs

This paper explores how the quality function deployment (QFD) is used to translate customer needs into technical parameters that will be controlled in process and ultimately can produce products as customers expect. research through field observations brainstorming with representative employees create house of set recommendation actions. With strong support commitment complete actions, resulting better product shows a gradual shift from grade B A means operations are more reliable. Through QFD, it known what really want, which most important needs, meeting so met. suggests several approaches actions high value especially woodworking industries.
